My recent visit to Jeju left me spellbound by its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage; despite the rather overcast weather.
Yongmeori Coast, with its unique rock formations and dramatic coastal views, provided a breathtaking backdrop for my photography escapades. Additionally, the historical significance and picturesque landscapes of Alddreu Airfield added a unique dimension to my exploration of Jeju.
The enchanting waterfalls of Jeju, such as Cheonjiyeon and Jeongbang, were like hidden gems nestled within the island’s lush landscapes, offering serene and picturesque settings for photography and contemplation. Moreover, the traditional architecture and cultural experiences at Jeju Folk Village added a sense of timelessness and authenticity to my journey. The arrival of cherry blossoms in the spring painted the island in a stunning palette of pink and white, creating a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere that was a delight to capture through my lens.
Exploring Jeju City, with its vibrant markets, historical sites and lighthouses, provided a dynamic contrast to the island’s natural wonders, offering a diverse range of photographic opportunities and cultural experiences. Additionally, the natural salt pans of Jeju, such as those found in the southern part of the island, offered a unique and visually striking landscape that added to the rich tapestry of photographic subjects on the island.
